This chemical engine and hose wagon was a hybrid apparatus. The body of the 1904 Holloway Combination Chemical Engine & Hose Wagon was installed on a 1928 GMC truck. This apparatus had no pump, but it had the chemical tank and booster hose to apply about 30 gallons of water. The hose bed carried several hundred feet of 2½” hose. The vehicle was equipped with turnout gear, extinguishers, nozzles, and tools. We believe that it was in service until the mid-1950’s.
