This 2007 Dodge Durango with 4-wheel drive served as our chief’s command vehicle (Car 52) until 2017, and then served as the deputy chief’s command vehicle (Car 52-2) through 2020 when it was retired. The SUV contained a radio console with VHF and UHF mobile and portable radios, a scanner, and a tablet with dispatch information and hydrant maps. The rear was equipped with an SCBA, an extinguisher, a GPS unit, and a command console with remote radios, multi-gas meters and leak detectors.
